planning and development reports

We produce tree reports suitable for planning purposes, such as an initial Tree Constraints Plan (TCP) to inform the client which trees are valuable and which are not, or to advise of the most sustainable layout where there are trees nearby.

We also provide higher level reports and plans which cover more technical aspects, such as Arboricultural Impact Assessments (AIA), from which detailed Arboricultural Method Statements (AMSs) are derived, and Tree Protection Plans (TPPs) – these are essential for most planning applications, and many local planning authorities insist on them.

We are also experienced in representing our clients at planning appeals with written statements or by providing expert witness at hearings.

We are fully appraised with the latest British Standards, such as BS5837:2005 (Trees in relation to construction – Recommendations).
