Safety Survey

Our surveys are carried out using the Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) system.  As licensed users of this product we offer safety surveys ranging from individual trees to woodlands and large tree populations.  This method provides a reliable and defendable system that recognises both the benefits of trees and the risks that they pose.

We offer a decay detection service and hazard assessment, and can provide different levels of survey, from simple walk-through inspections to a full tree assessment.  These regimes depend on the levels of access, the frequency of people or traffic, and proximity to buildings.

The QTRA method:

  • Provides a cost effective inspection programme
  • Reduces the need and scope of tree works
  • Favours trees with a high wildlife value
  • Delivers defendable reports that will satisfy insurers
  • Can be tailored to meet budgetary requirements
